The Ondine release Elliott Carter Late Works has been named "Recording of the Month" by MusicWeb International. The recording features five premiere recordings of Carter's late compositions, and new recordings of two others. Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Colin Currie, Isabelle Faust, Jean-Guihen Queyras, the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group and the BBC Symphony Orchestra perform with Oliver Knussen conducting.
